What if What
What if what
we believe we think we know,
is a phantom of all that truly is?
How do we know?
These words place images inside
the head by way
of chemical interactions
within the ear.
These words are waves of sound
that ripple and gurgle
down spiraling rivers into the heart.
Yet thoughts take me so lofty in the head
distinctly when I close my eyes.
sometimes.
It is so spacious in here,
a space so vast, it sustains multitudes of worlds
vaguely causing confusion, clutter, and chaos,
sometimes
when those clouds part
a clear sky with one bright star is revealed.
Sometimes
I constrict and other times I expand.
That’s what makes up time,
makes time up.
the ebb and flow, the push and pull, the in and out.
It goes on and on, forward and back
forever and ever.
There is wisdom in the past that uncovers the future
Wisdom guides us
through situations
awkward
and uncomfortable.
Keep the eyes closed,
or if open,
simply receive.
Inside is where we all meet.
And as always,
we end these words with love.
