Retreats
Our humble retreats take place internationally and locally in the Pacific Northwest. As part of our practice, we connect with animal rescues, sanctuaries, and natural living communities. We build deep relationships with the local guardians of this earth and the gentle creatures that we share it with. Our volunteer work and the educational component deepens the yoga experience as we become stewards of diverse life.
Body as Nature Retreat in Yelapa, Mexico
Practices Supporting Awakened Action in the World
During this seven day retreat in Yelapa Mexico we will explore many practices from meditation techniques to writing prompts, , from Qi Gong to chanting. You will be guided through daily practices on an open air deck with flocks of birds flying overhead. Each day you will have free time to explore Yelapa’s quaint town, beaches, hikes, and waterfalls. Yelapa is located south of Puerto Vallarta and is only accessible by water taxi. This makes it a very unique experience.

Day Retreat at Liminalia for The Elephants
This day long retreat will nurture you as we make space for reconnection through the empowering practice of Qi Gong, cultivating energy through movement, sharing in nourishing food, gathering our voices together with mantra and song, meditation, and devoting time to compassionate action towards ourselves and the global community, fundraising for the 8 elephants YARA supports in Northern Thailand.
PNW Winter Retreat at Liminalia
Liminalia is a threshold between contradictions: a new house with an old soul, a place of solitude that comes alive with gatherings, a domestic haven that dances with the wild, and land that holds ecstatic pleasure and exquisite pain. Alchemical properties create the perfect container for releasing what no longer serves you, surrendering to your new self, a new story, and a new culture.
