We would like to invite you on Retreat In the Time of Winter, January 5th-8th 2024.
What to Expect:
This retreat is focused on the power of the elements and cultivating our inner fire in the winter season. We will have the good fortune of being nurtured by the forest, the river, and the winter atmosphere.
Four days and three nights to gather in a sanctuary of a place, we will investigate modalities that support our life, the lives we touch, and the cycle of Life itself.
Daily movement practices
Meditation (Mantra, Guided, Zen)
Creative writing Sessions
Food preparation
Song Circle
Sauna
Forest and River Walks and Ceremony
Sanctuary Animals too!
A Shared Experience:
Lodging: There are various shared cabins scattered along the river and amongst the trees with single beds. None of these cabins have their own bathroom, yet there are 4 facilities (shower/sink/toilet) for our use. There is also an outdoor shower and 3 outhouses.
Meals: There is a beautiful kitchen in the main house where we will be sharing meals. Collectively we will share the responsibility of feeding one another.
