Big Mamma Kristy Skeie

You may remember about a year ago, we rescued 4 critters (3 cats and a dog) out of an abandoned trailer on the side of the stayte highway in NE Portland. I wrote a blog about it called The RV4some Rescue . I discovered them because I had befriended Kristy Skeie and was checking in on her one hot day last year. She still is there, unhoused, in pain, doing the best she can. She is very important to me. She’s always telling me the most entertaining stories and agreed to let me record them. She makes me laugh, she makes me cry, she’s family and I wish our culture, our community, the government that takes our money would give her the dignity she deserves and help her instead of using that money to fund a genocide and terrorize the world. Compassion is the answer, Love is the source. When Kristy Skeie is cared for, we all are cared for. I hope you enjoy meeting her here.
